Survivor South Pacific Recap

I'm not a fan of any reality game show until a friend of mine recommends this show to me. I was hesitant at first because of unfamiliar rules and I don't have any idea how the game is played. But after some episodes, it gets exciting and made me choose some favorite players.

But before I reveal who my favorite is, let me tell you about the two tribes living in an isolated island competing for 100 million dollar price and the title Sole Survivor.

We have 'SAVAII' spearheaded by an all star survivor Ozzy. Joining his tribe are Semhar, Mark(Papa Bear), Elyse, Dawn, Cochran, Jim, Keith and Whitney. The other tribe, 'Upolu' has the following members: Coach (also an All Star survivor), Stacey, Christine, Mikayla, Sophie, Albert, Brandon, Edna and Rick.

I personally love Ozzy because he's strong and he sacrificed himself to save Cochron but who unfortunately inspite of what Ozzy has done, betrayed his tribe mates.

The two tribes had a neck and neck races in the immunity challenges. I enjoyed every challenges they had. From the challenges you can see who among them have great strength and are smart enough to stay in the game.

But there is a twist this season. The person voted out from the tribal council will directly go to Redemption Island instead of immediately going home. They need to survive and feed themselves with limited supplies. The next person voted out will be the be the latter's challenger and they will duel. The winner remains on the redemption island. The loser is eliminated permanently.

Currently, there are only 7 people left after the merge of the two tribes (Te Tuna tribe). They are Coach, Albert, Sophie, Edna, Brandon, Ozzy, Whitney and Dawn. The first five are previously from Upolu tribe while the last three were sent to redemption island and will have a duel next week. Obviously, The former Upolu tribe is in control of the game wanting to send home all the former Savaii tribe. But at the end, the Upolu tribe will have to break up.

Survivor is such a dirty game. You will never know who to trust and you need to have an alliance to stay in the game. It's already half way of Season 23. Let's get ourselves updated. Watch the next episode next week. ;)
